From the moment guests stepped onto the grounds, they were transported into a world inspired by Hong Kong’s golden era glowing neon accents, retro signboards, energetic street music and vibrant market stalls reminiscent of the iconic lanes of Mongkok and Temple Street.
The ambience was alive, colourful and wonderfully sentimental, appealing to both older generations who cherished Hong Kong’s cultural legacy and younger visitors drawn to its timeless aesthetic.
A Marketplace Alive With Sights, Sounds and Flavours
Nearly 100 halal and non-halal vendors, including food trucks, specialty snack booths and artisanal craft sellers, lined the bazaar. The air was punctuated by the aroma of sizzling street food, Hong Kong-style egg waffles, freshly brewed beverages and colourful confectioneries. Visitors browsed stalls offering handmade goods, collectibles, retro memorabilia and lifestyle accessories each stop capturing a piece of the past.
Vendors described the experience as one of their busiest and most fulfilling pop-ups of the year. Many praised the crowd’s enthusiasm, saying the steady stream of visitors throughout both days created a festive atmosphere that felt ‘like a real Hong Kong street carnival’.
