KUALA LUMPUR – The Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) welcomes Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s announcement to allocate a RM30 million training grant for the implementation of the Malaysian Indians Skills Initiative (MISI) KESUMA-MITRA.
The grant will be channeled into skill enhancement programs for the Indian youth community, spearheaded by KESUMA in collaboration with HRD Corp and with the support of the Ministry of Finance and the Malaysian Indian Transformation Unit (MITRA).
Minister of Human Resources, Steven Sim, stated that the initiative will focus on critical training areas that meet industry demands and national needs.
“This aligns with KESUMA’s 3K aspirations aimed at enhancing Skills, Success, and Welfare of workers,” he said in a statement today.
