Kuala Lumpur – The National Training Week (NTW) 2024 offers a variety of free training courses to you across various channels and organized by HRD Corp under the auspices of the Ministry of Human Resources.
NTW is a week full of training and activities that brings together organizations and individuals from a variety of backgrounds and industries to experience learning and development opportunities across the country.
A total of 25,000 free courses and training will be offered during the National Training Week (NTW) 2024 which will take place from June 24th to June 30th 2024.
To help the government the target of 35% skilled workers by 2030, these trainings are offered free of charge at various locations as well as through a variety of learning modes and platforms to Malaysians.
NTW 2024 is a continuation of the highly encouraged NTW 2023. Holding in May last year, the NTW that was launched for the first time has surpassed almost all initial implementation targets when it managed to provide more than 21,000 free training courses to more than 129,000 Malaysians in addition to recording more than 503,000 hours of training.
Whileining the same goal of promoting lifelong learning among Malaysians, NTW 2024 sets a larger target with 200,000 registrations nationwide and 25,000 free training courses in five (5) core:
- Life skills: Personal development and self-fulfillment
- Future skills: STEM,TVET, Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Engineering
- Creativity and Innovation: Music, Arts, Culture and Creative Education
- Finance: Banking, Insurance, Investment and Financial Technology
- Strong Development: Environment, Development, Equality and Prosperity
NTW will feature activities for Malaysians from all walks of life based on the following:
