KUALA LUMPUR – In the spirit of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Malaysia Airlines, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport Malaysia, had the honor of sending off passengers traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu, ensuring they could reunite with their loved ones for this special occasion.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke led the heartfelt send-off, delivering an address before personally distributing festive goodie bags and Raya packets to passengers. He was accompanied by Deputy Minister of Plantation and Commodities and Member of Parliament for Kota Kinabalu, Chan Foong Hin, along with senior leaders from Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), including Group Managing Director Datuk Captain Izham Ismail, Chief Operating Officer of Malaysia Airlines Captain Nasaruddin A. Bakar, and Chief Commercial Officer of Airlines Business, Dersenish Aresandiran.

Special Raya Fixed Fare Flights to Ease Travel
Understanding the importance of festive homecomings, Malaysia Airlines has introduced Raya Fixed Fare flights, ensuring that more Malaysians can travel affordably to celebrate with their families. The special fares are available for bookings until 8 April 2025, with travel valid from 27 March to 8 April 2025.
This initiative reaffirms Malaysia Airlines’ commitment to making travel more accessible while delivering its signature Malaysian Hospitality to passengers as they embark on meaningful reunions with their loved ones.
