KUALA LUMPUR – Batik Air has advised passengers to check in online and arrive at airports at least four hours early as travel demand surges during the Chinese New Year festive season.
In a travel advisory, the airline said airports across Malaysia are expected to be significantly busier, with thousands of travellers returning home or heading out for holiday getaways.
Passengers are encouraged to complete online check-in before arriving at the airport and ensure their boarding passes are ready to speed up baggage drop, security screening and other formalities.
Batik Air said early planning will help reduce congestion and ensure a smoother and more relaxed travel experience during the peak period.
“Planning ahead allows travellers to focus on what truly matters this festive season reconnecting with family, sharing laughter over festive meals and creating cherished memories,” the airline said.
The airline also thanked passengers for their patience and continued support during the busy travel period, while extending festive wishes for prosperity, happiness and safe journeys.
“Gong Xi Fa Cai, and safe travels with Batik Air,” it added.
Passengers can obtain more information and plan their trips through the Batik Air mobile application or the airline’s official website. -MalayaDailyToday
