KUALA LUMPUR – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has expressed his deepest condolences to the families of victims involved in a horrific 11-vehicle pile-up and ordered relevant authorities to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
In a statement published on the official Malaysia MADANI portal today, Anwar emphasized that a detailed inquiry is imperative to determine the exact cause of the multi-vehicle collision and to prevent similar tragedies from recurring on major roadways.
“I express my sympathy and condolences to all victims and their family members affected by this incident. I have directed the relevant agencies to carry out a full and meticulous investigation into this matter,” Anwar said.
The Prime Minister also urged enforcement agencies and transport authorities to strictly enforce safety regulations and step up monitoring across all highways to ensure public safety. -MalayaDailyToday
