KUALA LUMPUR – Batik Air is celebrating Malaysia’s educators this Teacher’s Day with exclusive flight discounts and onboard tributes, recognising the vital role teachers play in shaping the natio’s future.
In conjunction with this year’s national Teacher’s Day theme, “Guru Bitara, Nadi Negara”, introduced by the Ministry of Education Malaysia, the airline has rolled out a special promotion dedicated exclusively to teachers across the country.
Under the campaign, educators can enjoy up to 15 per cent off Economy Value fares and up to 30 per cent off Economy Flexi fares by using the promo code FLYGURUBITARA when booking flights through Batik Air’s official website.
The promotion is available for bookings made from now until June 15, 2026, with travel valid until November 30, 2026.
Beyond discounted fares, Batik Air is also adding a personal touch to the celebration through special onboard announcements on selected flights today, paying tribute to teachers travelling with the airline.
Batik Air Chief Executive Officer Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy said educators are the backbone of every progressive society, with their influence extending far beyond classrooms.
