Recognized for Excellence in B2B Innovation and Cutting-Edge Connectivity Solutions
KUALA LUMPUR – YTL Communications has strengthened its position as a leader in telecommunications after winning two major awards at the Asian Telecom Awards 2025, held at Marina Bay Sands Expo, Singapore.
The company secured the “B2B Client Initiative of the Year” and “Innovative Connectivity Solution of the Year”, highlighting its pioneering efforts in 5G technology and its role in driving digital transformation across industries.
Transforming Enterprise Connectivity with 5G
YTL Communications’ win in the “Innovative Connectivity Solution of the Year” category recognizes the impact of Yes Managed Wi-Fi, a next-generation solution integrating 5G, cloud-based virtualization, and enterprise-grade security. The technology has revolutionized connectivity at luxury resorts such as Tanjong Jara Resort and Pangkor Laut Resort, enabling seamless, high-speed enterprise Wi-Fi without the need for costly fiber installations.
The company’s “B2B Client Initiative of the Year” win was awarded for its successful deployment of Yes Private 5G, a standalone 5G network designed to enhance automation, AI, and robotics in industries. One key success story is Clarion Malaysia, the country’s first AI and robotics-powered smart factory, where YTL Communications, in collaboration with Cnergenz, implemented an on-premise, self-contained 5G SA Private Network. This move has set new benchmarks for industrial automation and operational efficiency in Malaysia.
A Step Forward in Malaysia’s 5G Leadership
Speaking about the achievement, Wing K. Lee, CEO of YTL Communications, emphasized the company’s commitment to driving innovation:

Malaysia’s First 5G Provider Continues to Lead the Way
