LONDON – Meghan Markle unveiled nearly US$100,000 worth of new high-end jewellery collection including a diamond bracelet named after the late Princess Diana, during the promotional launch of her lifestyle brand’s latest product, Daily Mail reported.
In a recent photoshoot, the Duchess of Sussex was head-to-toe in haute couture and wore three new and hugely expensive jewellery pieces.
Meghan wears a US$61,250 yellow-gold tennis necklace from Jennifer Meyer alongside a US$32,550 diamond bracelet from Logan Hollowell that was inspired by Princess Diana.
She also wore the Reverse Water Drop Martini Studs, which retail for US$5,575.
Meghan, 45, complemented the collection with her wedding band, Cartier Love bracelet, and the late Princess Diana’s Cartier Tank Francaise watch.
The jewellery pieces were showcased in promotional materials for a limited-edition US$148 chocolate advent calendar, created in collaboration between her lifestyle brand, As Ever and Los Angeles chocolatier Compartés.
The calendar, inspired by her Montecito home and garden, features a festive illustration of the 11 million pound mansion she and Prince Harry called home for six years.
In addition to her jewellery selections, Meghan wore a US$695 cream cashmere sweater by Co and an olive green silk midiskirt from Argent Bias that retails for US$250.
Meghan finished the look with powder pink Aquazzura ballet flats that retail for $1,369.
A press release declared ‘every detail was considered with care, including countdown numbers hand-painted in Meghan’s own penmanship using edible gold lustre’.
The ‘limited-edition’ product includes 24 handcrafted chocolates and flavours include strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and orange marmalade, plus what is described as a ‘special chocolate finished with Meghan’s own flower sprinkles’.
The product is priced at US$148 and will be available to pre-order in the United States (US) on As Ever’s website, with delivery from early next month. -MalayaDailyToday
