KUALA LUMPUR – The iconic Kuala Lumpur Tower (Menara KL) will reopen its doors to the public tomorrow, April 26, starting at 9 am, following a temporary closure earlier this month.
In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Communications said the reopening is in line with the government’s commitment to safeguarding the well-being of employees involved, while ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for visitors.
Menara KL is now operated under a new management team led by LSH Service Master Sdn. Bhd. (LSHSM).
“Through this new partnership, the government remains dedicated to delivering efficient, customer-oriented services with continuous improvements to safety and comfort standards,” the statement said.
The tower was temporarily closed on April 17 to facilitate enhancement works and a reorganisation of operations. The ministry affirmed that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure a smooth reopening for both local and international visitors.
Menara KL, one of Malaysia’s most recognisable landmarks, is expected to resume its role as a major tourist attraction and cultural icon in the heart of the capital city. -MalayaDailyToday
