KUALA LUMPUR – The establishment of the TikTok Shop Live Hub is set to help local entrepreneurs expand the market reach of their products through live streaming and digital commerce.
The facility provides entrepreneurs with access to professional live streaming studios, digital equipment and training programmes to enable them to conduct online sales more effectively.
Through the initiative, entrepreneurs are able to promote and sell their products directly to consumers via live sessions, allowing for real-time interaction with potential buyers while showcasing their products.
The programme is also part of efforts to strengthen digital entrepreneurship in Malaysia, particularly among small and medium enterprises (SMEs) looking to expand their businesses through social media platforms.

To date, nearly 200,000 entrepreneurs have benefited from various training programmes organised under the TikTok Shop initiative.
The programmes have also generated about RM25 million in sales, reflecting the growing influence of live commerce in supporting business growth.
Currently, four TikTok Shop Live Hubs have been established in Kuala Lumpur, Sabah, Kelantan and Johor, providing entrepreneurs with access to facilities and support to improve their digital marketing capabilities.
There are also plans to expand the initiative to other locations including Penang and Kuantan, allowing more entrepreneurs across the country to benefit from the programme. -MalayaDailyToday
