KUALA LUMPUR – Laughter, chatter, and wide-eyed excitement filled a city cinema as 30 children from Lotus Charity Care Centre stepped into a world of wonder.
For these young hearts, Hari Malaysia this year was more than flags and national pride, it was a day of joy, magic, and unforgettable experiences, orchestrated by Innovestmy Sdn Bhd in collaboration with Exalumen Technologies Sdn Bhd.
The children, many of whom rarely have the chance to visit a cinema, were greeted with cosy seats, popcorn, and a screen that seemed larger than life.
From the moment the lights dimmed, their laughter and gasps echoed through the theatre, creating a warmth that could melt even the busiest heart.

“Hari Malaysia is not just a date on the calendar it’s a celebration of unity, compassion, and shared joy. Every child deserves to feel special,” said Lee Miew Lan, Director of Innovestmy, as she watched the children beam with delight.

“Seeing them enjoy this moment inspires us to continue giving back through meaningful social initiatives.”
For Angeline Barron, CEO of Exalumen Technologies, the day was a heartwarming reminder of what truly matters.
“Success is not measured solely by business achievements, but also by the smiles we can share and the lives we can touch.
“Witnessing their happiness today reinforces our commitment to community engagement and inspires us to create more opportunities like this,” she said.
Adding a modern twist to the celebration, the event also introduced the children to BolehJe, an innovative digital platform designed to empower youth, students, and freelancers.

Through BolehJe, users can find short-term job opportunities, earn flexible income, and build skills all while connecting with local businesses and organizations seeking talent.
“BolehJe is more than an app; it’s a bridge between opportunity and ambition. Just as we celebrate Hari Malaysia by nurturing unity and care, BolehJe helps young Malaysians take their first steps into economic independence,” explained Angeline Barron.

Throughout the event, the cinema buzzed with excitement some children chatted eagerly about their favourite movie scenes, others shyly peeked at the popcorn trays, while volunteers shared encouraging smiles and words of warmth.
For staff at Lotus Charity Care Centre, seeing their charges so happy and engaged was priceless a testament to the power of small gestures and thoughtful planning.

For Innovestmy and Exalumen, this event went beyond entertainment. It was about nurturing values of compassion, social responsibility, and Keluarga Malaysia spirit.
By combining the joy of cinema with the practical empowerment offered through BolehJe, they managed to create an experience that was both heartwarming and forward looking.
As the credits rolled and the children left the cinema with wide smiles, the memory of the day lingered a vibrant, meaningful celebration of Hari Malaysia, made richer by the laughter of children and the promise of new opportunities through technology. -MalayaDailyToday
