KUALA LUMPUR – Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor expressed her immense pride, saying, “The pride I feel today is as though he is one of my own children.”
Recalling her first meeting with the young prodigy at Permata Pintar, she added, “Many years ago, this child enthralled me with his brilliance. Iz, and a few others who attended Permata Pintar, were the reason we set up the centre, carefully crafted to meet individual needs, inspired by similar institutions around the world.”
She continued, “And then there was the certification by Johns Hopkins for Iz.”
Her pride swelled once again as she celebrated Iz Emir’s latest achievement: becoming the youngest student in University Malaya’s history since its establishment in 1962. At just 12 years old, Iz is now in his first year of a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.
Datin Seri Rosmah highlighted Iz’s academic journey: “When he was 6 years old, he was in Form 1 at Permata Pintar, UKM. At 8 years old, he completed his O-Level, and at 11, his A-Level.”
“A historic moment has been made. Alhamdulillah,” she concluded. “Way to go, Iz. May Allah bless you on your journey. Aameen.” -MalayaDailyToday
