In Malaysia’s competitive construction landscape, Sino Sky Sdn. Bhd. is emerging as a new force of innovation redefining how buildings are designed, engineered, and delivered.
The company, a joint venture between Malaysia’s OSMI Group and a partner from China, is charting an ambitious course with a target of RM250 million worth of projects within the next two years, combining cross-border expertise with local strength.
“The construction industry can no longer rely on conventional models,” says Datuk Harridzs Mohan, Executive Chairman of Sino Sky. “We are built on international collaboration and local capability to create real value in every project.”
Beyond Construction: A Full-Spectrum Developer
Unlike typical contractors, Sino Sky is an integrated developer-contractor offering complete solutions from design and build, mechanical and electrical (M&E), fabrication, and large-scale infrastructure works.
“We’re not a renovation company,” Datuk Harridzs emphasizes. “We deliver full end-to-end construction from concept to completion under one roof. That’s our strength.”
The company currently holds G7 contractor status, positioning it to handle high-value projects above RM5 million. Yet, Sino Sky remains committed to inclusivity by partnering with G6 and G5 local contractors, empowering smaller firms through joint ventures.
Innovation at the Core
Sino Sky distinguishes itself through cutting-edge technology, including the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in cement rendering and painting systems.
“AI allows us to work smarter and faster improving accuracy, consistency, and cost-efficiency on-site,” says Datuk Harridzs.
Supporting this innovation is Sino Sky’s fabrication plant in Rawang, which manufactures prefabricated building components enabling quicker assembly and less downtime at construction sites.
“If clients need fittings or specific structures, we fabricate them in-house and deliver ready-to-install units. It’s efficient, precise, and modern,” he explains.
A Strategic Growth Path
To date, Sino Sky has delivered RM35 million worth of projects, including luxury bungalows in Bukit Tunku and Damansara Heights, as well as factory developments.
The company is now exploring new opportunities in Bertam, Penang, for shop-lot and mixed-use developments, while also planning a RM200 million capital expansion to strengthen its machinery and technology capacity.
“We’ve invested RM25 million so far and have RM50 million in our pipeline. Our next milestone is RM250 million in active projects within two years,” Datuk Harridzs adds confidently.
Empowering Malaysia’s Workforce
Sino Sky’s vision extends beyond profits. The company emphasizes local job creation and SME participation, ensuring Malaysia’s construction growth remains inclusive.
“We’re open to working with local G6 and G7 contractors to jointly bid for public and private tenders,” says Datuk Harridzs. “This is how we build the industry together, sustainably, and inclusively.”
By promoting collaboration, Sino Sky also aims to reduce dependency on foreign labour while developing Malaysia’s next generation of construction talent.
Seizing Policy Momentum
The company’s growth aligns with Malaysia’s Budget 2026, which introduces a 20% initial capital allowance and 40% annual allowance for imported heavy machinery.
“Malaysia doesn’t yet produce its own heavy construction machinery. So these incentives are crucial for companies like ours to stay competitive and bring in high-quality foreign technology,” he says.

Looking ahead, Sino Sky plans to expand its presence to Sabah and Sarawak, strengthening regional development and fostering stronger Malaysia–China industrial collaboration.
