PUTRAJAYA – The Ministry of Education (MoE) has issued a formal apology after an error involving the Jalur Gemilang was found in the printed version of the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2024 examination analysis report distributed today.
In an official statement, the Ministry described the mistake as “unacceptable” and assured the public that immediate and firm action has been taken against those responsible.

“The Jalur Gemilang is a symbol of our nation’s sovereignty and pride. This negligence cannot be tolerated,” the statement read.
The Ministry has also initiated a detailed investigation into the incident and ordered the immediate return of the distributed report copies. Corrections are currently being carried out to ensure the document reflects the national emblem accurately.
The incident marks yet another case of misrepresentation involving the Malaysian flag, sparking public concern over recurring lapses in official publications.

The MoE reaffirmed its commitment to upholding national symbols with respect and accuracy, emphasizing that such errors will be dealt with seriously to prevent recurrence. -MalayaDailyToday
